The motion of the aerodynamic tether system includes two stages - deployment and deployed system. initial condition for model is that a spacecraft with rigidly connected second body in circular orbit about planet. process based on forces acting bodies. After separation rigid connection, further motions bodies are then controlled by release mechanism which unreels controls rate at unreeled. described multi-point model, splitting into number parts using series separations material points from spacecraft, thus forming mathematical distributed parameters. taken consideration. This makes it possible to calculate numerically elastic deformations curvature provides more accurate modelling if compared two-point model.
